Friends Against Scams Apps: Phase 2
We are pleased to announce that the Friends Against Scams app has been updated with the following features:
- Notifications and direct access to scam alerts from Which?
- Monthly scam quizzes to test knowledge of current scam trends
- Resources for practitioners and the public, including toolkits and educational materials
- Additional learning modules for professionals supporting scam victims
Alongside these updates, users can continue to check potential scams using the Ask Silver AI scams checker and complete the Friends Against Scams training directly from their phone.
The app is available for free on all Android and iOS devices and can be downloaded from the respective app stores using the below link:

To promote this new version of the app we have created a social media pack that can be shared online and posters that can be put up in public spaces. We would be grateful if you could share these materials wherever possible. You can access these resources here.
We will be running our social media campaign on Facebook and LinkedIn until the end of July.
We are keen to receive feedback on how we can continue to improve the app.
